I used to really push FOSS. I’ve run Linux since the late 90s. But I don’t know that I really believe it’s that much better anymore. I guess I kinda feel about the same as I do “organic” farming… It’s just not worth the price, effort, etc

Yes, but it’s from a certified butcher. There’s annual 'hunters feeding America" drives to donate carcasses to various facilities who process it and give them to food banks. Not bobby joe down the road doing his own processing.

It only gets worse the older they get. Teens used to be allowed to hangout in Walmart, malls, etc. now, they’re often told to leave unless accompanied by a parent.

FWIW, though I rarely use tampons, the O.B. are my favorite. There’s no stupid plastic applicator. You just shove them in. And, they’re tiny. Live happily at the bottom of my purse, just in case!!

I’ve gone back to powdered detergent. It’s harder to find, but works very well, and is very cheap. I’m going to write on the box when I start a new one, but I’m sure it’s been at least 6+ months, probably closer to a year since I started this one. The key is to not use too much. You only need a very little bit. Most people use WAY more detergent than needed, and actually cause themselves more problems.

There’s more to wealth than pure money. Musk has the money. What he doesn’t have is the generations of wealth, that came before. Some of that can’t be bought.
