A small majority of Arab-Americans are Christians, mainly descended from Lebanese Maronites and members of Syrian Christian minorities like the Nestorians. There are also a few Copts. Some are descendants of immigrants from as far back as the 1920s. Many of those groups barely identify as Arabs, many have some very real grievances against Muslims, and generally aren’t interested in the Palestinians (not even the Orthodox Christian Palestinians). And even among Muslim Arab-Americans, there is very little solidarity. The religious conservatives despise the Democrats for supporting women’s and LGBTQ+ rights.
It’s also worth noting that the majority of Palestinian-American groups endorsed the Democrats as the less-bad alternative.

Trump won with 1% of the vote.
35% of registered, eligible voters stayed home. If 1% of those that stayed home would have voted we would be in a different world right now.
Protest voters are absolutely to blame for this.

I highly recommend clicking through when you find something like that, often it’s a terrible sub but there’s also times when it’s not what you’d expect. As for the other sub, that’s called lemmyDrama, which is just about lemmy drama, like how r/subredditdrama on reddit is about drama. So I wouldn’t call that trolling.
