Lakers starters played until halfway in the 3rd quarter. No Booker, no Beal, and Durant only played in the first half. Lakers bench was atrocious. Cam Reddish, Christian Wood, and Rui Hachimura combined for 7 points. Collectively they were a -93.

Actually I kinda prefer an old school Spurs like team to face off against the super team like those spurs Heat Finals. One team with superstar free agents teaming up, and one team with chemistry and good fit and continuity playing unselfish basketball.
The Nuggets still exists too, but I’ll call them a superteam because Jamal is gonna get his all star nod soon
Superteams are usually not just when a team has a lot of good players, but when superstars team up. Like KD going to golden state, or or Lebron taking his talents to Miami, or KG and Ray Allen going to Boston to join Paul Pierce.
Nas Utah’s too
i dont think home grown fits that
I understand the sentiment against teaming up, but Tim Duncan was a Doc Rivers decision away from teaming up in Orlando and then was fortunate enough to pair up with Kawhi for his last runs. A lot of luck there. The reason super teams form in the first place is to beat the insanely well constructed teams like the Spurs and the Warriors.
