You ain’t winning with Mitchell though. Unless you convince him that he’s a number 3 option.

I kind of expect this at this point as well. Unless we take a big step up this year and make a deep playoff run I don’t think there’s a chance he stays. And honestly that’s ok, he’s brought a lot of excitement to our team and the experience gained for our core of Garland Mobley and Allen will be really valuable for whatever comes after he leaves.

If it’s coming from Bill Simmons, he’s probably signing an extension with Cleveland.

Who’s to say he’s staying ? Every superstar to change teams in the last 4 years had signed an extension, then demanded a trade

And the cost for him to stay has been basically 10 first round picks, Jrue and 500 million dollars.

Not saying there’s anything wrong with it but don’t act like it was entirely out of goodwill.

The Bucks did everything possible to get him to stay. Mitchell has already cost them five picks. He was the improvement.

      The scenarios are incomparable

you can’t just aggregate everything the bucks have traded and act like all of those assets just went down the drain with nothing in return. also everyone just figures the bucks made moves to keep Giannis happy, even though both big trades came after big playoff disappointments when you’d expect a contender to make a change

The thing is idk if Cavs want to keep Donovan anyways. It just doesn’t look like him and Garland can work long term.

    So were he going?

Miami? Knicks? ( I think they’re looking at bigger name in embiid but do they drop it to get Mitchell and pair with a defensively deficient player in the backcourt? )

I Just don’t think he fits in cleveland with their current team, the cavs young guys need to be given the keys to improve into a very solid core.

    Should’ve just kept Lauri Markkanen

But I guess not many people would’ve predicted him being an all-star

Bill Simmons loves to troll Cleveland right before the start of the season. It’s because Lebron ruined the Celtics fir a decade.
