Which players will breakout? Disappoint?

Which team will surprise? Disappoint?

Who will win the chip?

Mine:

Tyler Herro averages 25 PPG and lead the heat to a top 3 seed in the East.

Scottie Barnes will breakout with averages of 20/7/7.

Lakers will finish as 6 seed or lower due to injuries again.

Suns will win the chip.

Breakout: Pritchard will be a dark horse for Most Improved and Sixth Man!

Disappointed: Embiid. Is no longer being pushed by wanting the MVP, will have a slightly worse team around him. Except his stats to suffer as Maxey improves his numbers.

    Chip: probably the Nuggets tbh

The new all nba rules usher in a new era where most rational fans realize we cannot weigh all nba selections in the future as much as ones in the past (overall, not each one individually)

Worse players relative to the rest of the league will start winning a lot of them, muddying up the prestige of the award and also giving worse players super maxes. Those worse players getting super maxes will start weighing down teams and you’ll see people start to complain about the rule ruining things for small markets who feel like they have to give out bad giant contracts to players who don’t deserve them or lose them

Brandon Miller is this season’s Keegan Murray, he’s not going put up big box score numbers like other rookies but he’s going to an efficient 3 and D while helping the Hornets back into the postseason.

Nuggets don’t make the conference finals

The Heat don’t have a miraculous playoff run this year and get bounced in round one

Jazz and Wolves will make the playoffs.

Lakers will try to trade for Mitchell when they’re underperforming early on.
