“This just exposes the blatant fallacy in Bezos’ new rules: civil liberty for him but not for anyone who disagrees,” wrote one journalist.

I’ve been actively blocking their content for a while now. They’re compromised and can’t be trusted to be honest anymore. Their billionaire overlord has them broken and beaten.

This is what they want? Now they can replace her with a propaganda mouthpiece.

They know people who are not fascists have morals and will leave a place that won’t give them any respect.

The right won’t do that. They will stay and even seek out new places that their bullshit has yet to infest, so that they can spread their lies.

There’s two positives for her resigning:

      • she can live on without hating herself
      • she signals to the world that the Washington Post is not reputable anymore I’m not sure how she could have a more positive impact by staying, which you appear to imply she should have.

Don’t rely on any news source owned by a sycophant. Because the upper ranks bends to the wills of the owners everytime and this is an example.

It’s like, Fox News shouldn’t ever be trusted, not because of just it’s nature but it’s owned by the Murdoch family. A bunch of sycophants.

    Washington Post? Owned by Bezos.

I really want a browser add on or something that replaces backgrounds on websites with the creepiest shot of whatever rich fuck owns the site. Doesn’t fully block sites, but I can’t read a word of it without bezos staring back at me. It would help me better than ground news ever could.

Wonder if there’s anything stopping her from publishing that column elsewhere. Sounds like a good read!
