It seems safe to assume that the falcons would normally have preferred to play their star running back unless he was actually unable to play effectively.
Given that assumption, there are only three options:
A) Bijan’s injury was unknown to the falcons until it was too late to disclose on the injury report.
B) Bijan was hurt, the falcons knew about it, and they were attempting to gain a competitive advantage against their opponent THIS WEEK by not disclosing the injury
C) Bijan was hurt, and the falcons were attempting to hide the nature of the injury to obtain a longer term competitive advantage.
Let’s ignore options A) and B) as they aren’t very fun to discuss. If we look at option C), what injury would the falcons look to hide? I would argue that an injury capable of keeping Bijan out multiple weeks is a clear motive to mask a more serious injury as a nebulous “headache.” This is especially true if this hidden injury would have the capacity to sideline Bijan for multiple weeks.
Let’s now think - in this era, what injury could have the potential to keep a player out multiple weeks yet be effectively disguised as a headache? CONCUSSION!
The evidence (conclusively?) points to Bijan sustaining a concussion during practice on Thursday or Friday, with the falcons minimizing a concussion by only reporting a single, innocuous symptom - a last minute “headache” - to avoid further scrutiny.
Am I crazy here?
TL;DR: Falcons hid a Bijan concussion from the nfl. Take away all the draft picks.
Lol this is some great conspiracy theory thinking here:
"3 things could have happened. 1, which is most likely, 2 which is less likely, but could happen, and 3 which is incredibly unlikely but fun to talk about.
Here is a SMALL piece of reasoning that could, if you stretch it real far and look at it sideways could make 3 true.
Now that we KNOW 3 is true, let’s discuss the ramifications!"
Or he just got a migraine saturday evening and his hope is it would go away before gametime sunday and even tried to play through it.
lmao its literally just this
this is like the stupidest story this season in the nfl who cares lmao. and before anyone says a migrane isnt that bad, a migraine sitting on the couch is not the same as a migraine when you are running at 260 lb dline men
People are connecting red strings on a board like it’s a grand conspiracy concocted by Arthur Smith to fuck them over and steal their money. It’s fucking absurd it’s gotten to this point
Anyone who says a migraine isn’t that bad has never experienced an actual migraine.
and before anyone says a migrane isnt that bad, a migraine sitting on the couch is not the same as a migraine when you are running at 260 lb dline men
Anyone who says this has never actually had a migraine lol. They might as well be the same thing.
I just think head injuries are really tricky
Now vaccines on the other hand… Those have made my penis grow to be very long and thick…
Please explain to me how they were attempting to gain a competitive advantage when Bijan was only in for 17% of snaps and had one carry.
If he showed up on their injury report during the week that he was limited or not practicing because of the actual injury this theory might make some sense but he wasn’t.
Pregnancy
Smith is an idiot and was probably as simple as playing against bijan in fantasy
