Who are some busts that do not get a lot of attention for their bust-ness? Specifically from the 2020 draft class onward

I think we’re all cheering for Baker Mayfield because he’s the antithesis of Deshaun Watson. The more he wins the worse Cleveland looks for going with the rapist.

The man is on his 4th team in five years as a formal first overall pick though. He was a bust, and he wasted some extremely talented Browns rosters. They were right to move on from him, but wrong in who they chose to go with next.

The 2018 QB class went the exact opposite of the pre draft hype. Projects Lamar and Allen are studs, the wildcard Baker is a journeyman fringe starter, “NFL ready” Darnold is currently a back up to a Mr. Irrelevant, and “most NFL ready in the class” Rosen is out of the league.

Lions fans talk about him plenty but very few are aware we seem to have set our 2021 second round pick on fire to take Levi Onwuzirike from Washington, who had back issues in college that have followed him to the pros. He has been a healthy scratch the last two weeks.

According to PFR, there’s 55 guys from the 2023 draft that haven’t played a single snap so far. That’s nearly 1/5 of the draft class, most only have 5-10 that never take a snap. And Mr. Irrelevant has taken some. The list includes 2 2nd round picks, 5 3rd round picks, and 8 4th round picks. So I’m gonna say this draft may produce more of them than normal.

Deandre Baker, one of our first-round picks from 2019, hasn’t played in the league since 2021

Amari Rodgers was the 85th pick in 2021 to a Packers team desperate for young secondary receiver help, I presume they gave him an extended chance in camp/practices to at least be a rotational player, never got there and is now out of the league. Rodgers even gave a couple of veiled “this guy sucks” quotes during his stint and AR definitely wouldn’t do that if he wasn’t lazy and/or obviously quite bad.

    Rashod Bateman.

Always injured. Hasn’t really built rapport with Lamar. Doesn’t look enthused to be playing football. Believes the earth is flat.

CEH isn’t a BUST by my definition, but definitely not living up to the hype a first rounder generates.

Dude was a healthy scratch during the Super Bowl and didn’t even show up for the parade afterwards. If that doesn’t scream “bust” to you then I don’t know what does.

That being said, I do appreciate how he’s added to Mahomes’ highlight real by catching that spin-move TD pass in the Bucs game last year.

I was thinking he’d be Kamara 2.0. He’s serviceable but nowhere near where I thought he’d be.

I’d say Damon Arnette was a pretty big bust. 19th overall pick who pretty much did nothing and got in trouble.

Isaiah Wilson is another one. First round tackle and I’m pretty sure he only played in like one game

The Titans have gotten almost no production from their 2020, 2021, and 2022 first round draft picks. That just might be playing a part in why they’re rebuilding. It definitely played a part in Jrob’s firing.
