Why are the Bulls so reluctant to just blow it all up? They’re not going anywhere with the current construction of their team, and acquiring James Harden is not making them a contender. Just blow it up this year and tank for Flagg next year.
Because they haven’t been great at tanking either. Before the arrival of Lonzo and DeMar they were in the lottery and picked the following players:
Patrick Williams
Coby White
Wendell Carter Jr
Out of the three, the best is probably WCJ and he’s not even on the team anymore. Y’all just can’t assume that every rebuild is like OKC or the Spurs. It just doesn’t happen. Sometimes you end up like the Rockets

Because we were the worst, second worst team in the nba for like 4 seasons. We tanked and we were fucking awful at it lol
I must have missed when this happened… we were never the first or second worst NBA team. The Bulls have never properly tanked. They should absolutely be selling now. The few assets they actually have (Demar, Levine, Caruso) are just depreciating. They wont be sellers bc ole Jerry wants to field a “competitive” team to make sure the stadium is full.
