He’s thrown for 9 interceptions in 6 games, also on pace for his first season without a positive TD-INT ratio.

Since Alex Smith retired, all the guys who people label a “game manager” end up being guys who turn the ball over. Jimmy G, Gardner Minshew, Teddy Bridgewater, Jacoby Brissett.

I know people are talkin’ shit about Purdy these days but our offense is really night and day when you compare the two. Like with how we looked against the Bengals, with Jimmy G we’re scoring 3 or 6 points probably.

Nah Dak had a lot tipped ball INTs Jimmy maybe only. Had one of those the rest were just as ugly as the one in the redzone last night

The situation with the Raiders would be funny if it wasn’t actually almost sad.

Oh wait, no - it’s really fucking funny.

when you’re josh allen or mahomes making huge plays along with the boneheaded mistakes that’s ok. when you’re jimmy and you have no ceiling or upside you have to protect the football

Problem with Jimmy is that the “huge plays” he was making in SF were within the confines of the training-wheels-to-the-max Shanahan offense. Allen and Mahomes can make big plays more frequently and they could do it with any team because of how gifted they are.

Oh he definitely has a ceiling. It’s as low as you’d find in a hobbit hole though.

You know what’s funny? I was just listening to a Bills Podcast grading the 2nd quarter of foot ball and the host, Joe Marino, mentioned how Allen is 4th lowest on turnover worthy plays. He said it just happens that all his turnover worthy plays were actual turnovers.

You dont see Chiefs and Bills fans really up and arms about Mahomes/Allen making dumb plays once in a while ( moreso Allen )

Because they know damn well 1 bad play can be covered up with amazing plays

Mahomes and Allen legitimately might be the most unstoppable QBs of all time when they’re playing at their best since there’s nothing you can do to stop their bullshit plays when they’re in the zone.

Jimmy gives you like 24 points off the back of a strong run game at his best lol.
