The Orlando magic so far:

  • 1st in DRTG
  • 3rd in REB%
  • 6th in OREBs per 100 possessions
  • 3rd in steals per 100 possessions
  • 4th in opponent points in the paint per 100
  • 7th in opponent 3PM and 3PT%
  • 2nd in transition points allowed

Looking at these metrics, it’s not surprising the lakers struggled so much with them. I hope they can keep it up. It would be great to see another eastern conference contender emerge

With how huge everyone is, that team has a ton of defensive upside.

I think the shooting/scoring efficiency will be an issue, but it’s not like they are completely devoid of shooting/scoring either.

You jinxed it. Now they will suck.

I’m a huge jalen suggs fan. He was hounding the ball yesterday. Now if only he develops an average offensive game will he be a regular starter. I think they need a 3 point threat.

We’ve needed a 3 point threat for 10 years now 😔 been one of the worst teams from 3 for a while - really need the offensive help

They’ve only played 3 games, who cares? Two of their opponents were the rockets and blazers, two god awful teams and then the third are the lakers who they just lost to, I really don’t see the point in trying to find any kind of trend in a 3 game sample size; especially when they struggled to barely beat a horrible blazers team.
