Is KAT straight up not a liability anymore? This defense is relentless.

They have like 4 elite defenders in the starting lineup and then bring in Anderson + NAW off the bench. Gobert was anchoring top defense when everyone else was a liability, but these guys are the opposite.

They were a dark horse team for me because I liked some things I saw from their lineups last year and they impressed me in the playoffs, but I wasn’t expecting this. They are playing another level of defense right now.

Between the Hartenstein 1 footed 3 point buzzer beater and the Hart mid air throw the ball off Jrue and knockdown the 3, i was going to be upset if the C’s didn’t either lose by a minimum of 7 points or win the game

EPM, LEBRON, and DARKO are the best. DARKO is the best for projections and EPM is the best for a single season imo. You’re going to have to wait though and EPM has made sorting/filtering without paying a pain in the butt.

Part of the reason the Celtics were able to get back into that series vs. the 76ers is that the C’s would often leave the lane wide open for Harden to drive, electing instead to make sure Embiid was covered on his mid range jumper.

Harden could no punish them for it.

They are more efficient jump shooters and can get off their shots in a more variety of ways.

For Durant specifically, it’s hard to contest his shot because he’s so tall.

For Steph specifically, it’s hard to contest his shot because of the conditioning needed to guard him, (not a sprinter but a marathon runner), and how far out you have to defend him.

tbf, Porzingis is freakishly large and you don’t expect him to be able to block a shot from where he is
