It was always kinda controversial having him in top 75, but now he’s teamed up with another elite all timer, so if he’s an all timer himself, it’s ring or bust for Dame.

Barkley, Stockton, Malone, Iverson, Baylor, Ewing, Nash, ‘Nique, Reggie, Melo, Gervin, Pistol Pete, Bing, Thurmond, and Wilkins all never won a ring

This is dumb. First context would matter. Were there injuries? Did they get to the final seconds of a game 7 and lose by one possession?

Did they take an early exit but Dame played crazy and Giannis played poorly?

Big sweeping comments are fun for the ignorant masses but meaningless for those looking for real basketball discussion.

Lebron and AD, two of the top 75 players of all time, have been playing together for 4 years now going on the 5th and have just one ring. Is AD’s selection wrong?

    Shit happen.

Doesn’t mean it was wrong then, but you can easily see a short future where guys like Luka, Tatum, Shai or Booker win rings or MVP and overtake him as top 75 like Jokic.

Wasn’t wrong but definitely questionable, think voters were just biased. Dwight and at the time the reigning mvp didn’t get in while he and AD got selected.

Gonna go back and magic erase him from the top 75 broadcast? New Google commercial with Jimmy Butler erasing Dame?

Winning a title is hard, and the league is really deep in contenders this year.

There are also multiple teams with two top-75 (or likely to be by the end of their career) guys: Denver (Jamal seems likely to make it), Phoenix (Booker seems likely to make it), Lakers, Warriors, maybe even Boston (depending on where you think Brown is going to need up). It’s not like, in today’s league, having two top-75 guys makes you a favorite, much less a clear favorite.

there’s plenty of teams that had 2 or more top 75ers that didn’t win a ring though

Dame led the league in points per game from January 1 until he was benched for the tank job, by 4 ppg. Put some respect on his name man
