How are the bears if you take out defense/st touchdowns against?
Noted defensive powerhouse,
checks notes
The Kansas City Chiefs
Does this adjust for points not actually given up by the defense? Like pick 6 or kick returns?
Yea I feel like the browns have won some games that are really high scoring by both teams
No and it’s a reason for a lot of the outlier results where points allowed diverges from yards against.
Cept Denver has like a top 5 defense now
It was after half time against the Bears. Fields hung 28 in the first half & then it felt like we saw a different defense in the second. It’s been upward since then. Kudos to VJ.
The fact that our offense is dick, and our defense gives up this many yards really amplifies our record being an anomaly. I think most people assume we have an elite defense when its really just been Watt and Highsmith. Dashes of cam and minkah but both have missed time
It’s an elite defense in the red zone and that’s somehow enough.
It’s called luck
It’s a defense that struggles with being stretched but is actually quite good on a short field (red zone). They’re willing to give up the middle a lot on a long field knowing that they’re hard to beat when the space options are limited.
We are the bend don’t break prototype
Bend don’t break and splash
I like the aesthetics of there being a pretty cut and dry top 5
These numbers are a fugazi thanks to the Bears and Jets, we are even more dog shit than it looks
Yep. Those back to back games got everyone thinking our defense might actually be something but really just spray painted dogshit gold.
Justin Herbert though
Its nice to see the 3 Chargers fans in here collaborating…
Our team motto: The Chewbacca Defense. It does not make sense.
Worked for OJ
420 blaze it hahaha right friends
420 blaze 69 days of the year smoking on that sussy ohio Zaza skibidi strain like the rizzlet god I am
Call me crazy, but points against is a more important stat than yards against.
Points can be deceiving though. For example, the Ravens had 31 points against the Browns Sunday.
However, that doesn’t properly describe the Browns defensive performance.
The Ravens only scored 17 points on actual offensive drives. 7 of those points came on a pick 6, and another TD came on a muffed punt that gave the ball to the Ravens all the way on the 11 yard line. Which, on a side note, shouldn’t have even scored in the first place since the refs took a Lamar INT in the endzone off the board with a completely bs holding call on a 3rd down play.
Scoring matters in each game, but yardage can be a very good indicator of games going forward.
Unlabeled dashed line, whatever you are, thank you for making me feel fkn stupid.
damn denver improved a ton and is still insanely bad on here. guess that’s what a 70 burger does to a MFer
DET needs to figure their shit out, this scheme ain’t working
I wonder where denver is if u just look at the last two games…
