Libya agreed to give up it’s nuclear ambitions and look what Obama did to them. DPRK, despite seven decades of effort by the US to destroy it, is still standing. What lesson is a world leader in the US’s crosshairs supposed to garner from these examples?

Is reading comprehension really that bad? The argument is that Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons. The justification for attacking them is that they need to be stopped before they cross the line.

I’m not saying I agree with this line of reasoning, but the clear idea is that Iran doesn’t currently have nuclear weapons.

The west showing once again that the only way to be a sovereign nation is to have nukes.
And the west showing once again that for them international law is nothing more than a tool to wield at their discretion against their geo-strategic rivals.

I’m sure Iran has a dirty bomb. They just are not insane enough to use it. They might be angry. But they are not that insane.

That’s the point everyone making these memes is missing. If they actually had nukes already, none of this would be happening.

This offensive is supposed to make sure they don’t develop nuclear weapons, whether the reasoning is fabricated or not.

If only we could create some sort of agreement with Iran where they wouldn’t build nuclear weapons. That would solve the problem without need for violence. Only somebody actively looking to start a war would walk away from a deal like that.

It’s a bad agreement to make. If a nuclear nation tries to make a deal with a non-nuclear country to not develop a weapon that country needs to double their nuclear program funding.

The US doesn’t respect their agreements and Russia clearly hasn’t. At best nuclear nations just want to keep the non-nuclear nation subservient
