Who would’ve thought a bunch of 20 year olds and a rookie would be this impactful this early on. They don’t make many mistakes that your typical younger players make, especially in close games. It’s crazy Sam Presti has 37 picks in the next 7 years, and their core already looks close to set.

Should OKC even make a trade at this point, or should they just continue to develop what they have? Their only weakness seems to be rebounding.

Just realized that this is actually false - Nuggets (9-3) play the same day against the Cavs, and the game ends a few hours earlier.

Mavs (9-4) could also potentially do it, but they’re against a harder opponent in the Kings.

Imo don’t get carried away and stay the course. It’s too early to start making big moves. We are ahead of the timeline and will have to make major decisions regarding these youngsters pretty soon. Let’s enjoy the good basketball we get to watch and give some time for them to develop.

We still need solid rebounding before we can consider ourselves real contenders. But everything else has been awesome

I think the big part of us being this good so far in the year is that we brought back almost all of our players from last year. The chemistry is there and everyone knows there roles. I think the only thing that we lack on the rooster is another backup big to provide some more rebounding.

Still not ready but we look decent! Rotations were on point today it seemed. No experiments from make tonight so we shall see. I think 6th seed is fair.

I think Presti knows that’d be a stupid idea.

My guess he prioritizes getting the best guys that can fill their roles in the team, and have ridiculously good depth

They are probably going to use their draft picks to replace role players who they can’t afford anymore. As some players get too expensive they will replace them with older 4 year college players or trade a few picks to move up when they see an opportunity.

People are being dumb and overreacting to a few bad shooting games/falling into the same “there’s only one basketball, he doesn’t fit, trade him” trap they always do when a team has more than two guys who like the ball in their hands. like incredibly skilled and productive 6’9 point guards with good team chemistry just grow on trees

Name me one elite player in the NBA who isn’t a good defender, doesn’t get to the rim/line at will, and can’t shoot

        Just one.
