If the Rudy trade is considered “the worst trade in history”, then the Conley & NAW trade is “the best trade in history”.
It’s turning out to be a very good trade but I do think we gave too many draft picks and outbidding ourselves. Still an awesome move the front office.
At this point, it can’t be the worst trade in history. At worst, it’s just a bad trade. Look at where the Wolves are now.
Tough to watch grimes continue to brick wide open 3s. He has one of the prettiest shooting forms but can’t hit wide open shots, make it make sense!
I’m still getting used to this. It’s hard to gain trust after years of abuse
66 combined FTs man the referees made this game into a slog.
Love this win and I’m glad that Fournier didn’t play because he would score 40 points against the Wolves, that man gives me PTSD.
I have seen plenty of bad basketball this year trust me, but thirty five percent shooting???
Are the Wolves good? The last time they were good I didn’t have hair on my nuts.
Are you like 5? They were good for a short while in 2017-18 with Thibs, Butler and the rest.
Shout out Mike Breen and Wally, could only find the Knicks broadcast tonight but it was so, so pleasant—especially after being subjected to the Warriors broadcast twice in the past week.
Wally has really improved a lot as a caster this season, which is great. He’s going to be taking over for Frazier and it’s good to see him coming into his own. It’s also just refreshing to have guys who love the Knicks and basketball equally. Sure they have homer moments at times, but it’s rare and they just actually talk about the game. The Warriors announcers, oof.
Wally gets too much hate cuz of the Halliburton comment. It stuck and overshadows his casting as of late for sure
Mike is the GOAT. Wally isn’t bad at all relative to commentators around the league—but he can ramble sometimes. We’ve been spoiled as hell with Mike and Clyde for all these years.
The Knicks have been blessed by having the two GOATS of basketball play by play analysis in Breen and Marv. Along with Clyde who’s a Hall of Fame player and announcer
It’s such a shock because NYC media is the exact opposite of “very impartial”, but guys like Michael Kay, Breen, and Kenny Albert are all pretty damn good commentators.
I’m conveniced you can’t beat this Wolves team when they are rested.
Just insane levels of defense, and then the offense starts clicking… its a thing of beauty
Conley and NAW for DLO was the best trade that ever happened, absolute steal.
Julius Randle is a fucking terroist
Klay Thompson is a terrorist. Just started chucking up threes trying to manifest 2016 Klay in that OT game against the Thunder lol.
I watched Jarrett Culver play basketball to get to this
I watched the cream team
Johnny Flynn- Ryan Gomes- Cory Brewer- Ryan Hollins- Nathan Jawai was an actual Wolves starting 5.
I had my hopes built on Luke Ridnour and Chase Budinger to get to this
And Gorgui Dieng
Jarrett Culver doesn’t even crack the bottom 5 top ten picks I’ve watch
I wanted him so bad in the draft lol
I’m starting to think the Wolves might be back
Go home Thibs.
Knicks would need to trade 5 FRP and Walker Kessler to get KAT
