Most watches put the small seconds at 6 o’clock for symmetry but in that case just putting “small seconds” in a google search will spam you with examples.

For something that has off center small seconds the first thing that jumps to mind is any Vostok with the 2415.12 movement. But you will probably pay more taxes than the watch is worth and well … Russia.

Zenith Elite Moonphase, of course belonging to another planet in terms of quality and inherent price.

Yeah just google for “small seconds” watches - sometimes they’ll be called “sub seconds” as well but the former name is more common. Most of the time the seconds hand will be at 6 o’clock on such watches or occasionally at 9 o’clock. It being in other positions like on this Baltic is a lot less common. You can do some research to see what movements have this function and google for watches that use them - ETA (or Unitas) 6497 and 6498 are common on larger watches, Peseux 7001 sometimes on smaller ones and also SW-261 and there are some other common ones out there.

Hey I have this baltic, I got it because it is an affordable micro-rotor and very good looking watch. BUT, it is very light (almost hollow feeling) and does not have á sapphire crystal. For the price point, Id probably pick it up second hand or gray market for cheaper than what they go for (around $600-700 i believe).

That’s one of my favorite watches of all time. The hands and the shiny numerals are what makes it attractive to me, anyway.

If you just mean small seconds / seconds at 6 o’clock, Vario has some cool ones, but also just look at vintage watches. You can get some for quite cheap that still run like a charm
