For years I’ve been ranting about how ridiculous it looks when Embiid gets almost 15 FTs per game for stretches at a time. He way to often searches for and embellishes contact instead of just playing. Mad annoying.
If you slow it down whether intentional or not Suggs very clearly traps Jokics arm and drags it near his own face then their legs get caught up in what clearly appears to just be them both rushing to get up at the same time. I can’t see any ill intention from Jokic in the slowmo replay.

Absolutely insane this was called a double common foul. Clear technical on Jokic and it’s not even a debate. I get he had some silly tech the last game but you don’t let him hit some other player in the face because they messed that call up.
I don’t get how Joe ingles gets foul calls for flicking his arms out, but Cole Anthony doesn’t get an over the back foul there. It is pretty ridiculous

At 7-8 seconds in look at how Cole jumps basically straight up, though he’s reaching over Jokic, and Jokic’s feet. He hops backwards into Cole.

You can clearly see his right hand reaching for the ball over Jokic, he doesn’t put his right hand on Jokic’s back until he’s already falling. The second replay shows Jokic basically already horizontal by the time his right hand is on his back, and his left hand is more just pinned between them than actually pushing.
Also gives a great view of Suggs backing his ass in to Jokic to bowl him over.
