Penalizing players for actions taken to avoid the risk of injuring opponents is quite possibly the second worst thing refs can do, besides you know fixing games

this isn’t rocket science, every time i’ve seen this tech the player does a totally unnecessary pull up on the rim, and it’s no different here. you can check your landing without the pull up
He didn’t even do a pull up, he just raised his knees. This was an extremely weak call

Never liked these calls, but pretty sure it’s bc he pulled himself up a bit instead of just letting himself hang there. Same bullshit call happened to Jimmy last year
