Imo Beal isn’t the right fit for this Suns team and is redundant when next to KD and Booker and I think the Suns could have used this past offseason to actually get someone who would make this team the favorite. I think they could have gotten someone like Siakam, OG, FVV or even Harden and they would have been a better fit. What are some names you think the suns could have gotten instead of Beal?
Their lineup with Booker, Gordon, Grayson Allen and Nurkić looks so good so far that maybe the answer is “nothing” lol. This team is already cooking with 50 million in street clothes.
I am very Beal-sceptical but I can’t say more about Beal on Suns without actually Beal playing on Suns, so we’ll see.

The only offer for Ayton besides Nurkic + Little was THJ + Holmes + McGee from the Mavericks on draft night. Nobody else was going to trade for CP3 because it was leaked the Suns were planning on waiving him. Neither had much value at all, so I’m happy we were able to get what we did this off-season. Before we got Beal, the Suns were linked to Fred VanVleet and Terry Rozier at the trade deadline. We probably wouldn’t have retained FVV, and Beal gives us a higher ceiling than Rozier.
Any star that isn’t the archetype of Beal. Beal is the worst type of player for a team with this depth
