Gave him the benefit of the doubt, but he has no lift on his jumper and is becoming a liability on the floor. Safe to say the LA stint has been a no-go. Does anyone actually think he can compete in the role he currently has on the clippers?

He has been a step slower with no vertical burst this season. That said, it’s hard to say he is cooked when he still drops 20-25 points a game. Tonight he looks like ass, but on B2Bs he has played super chill in either the first or second games…

Yeah. He’s still a top 12 guy when right but the top 5 or player probably isn’t there anymore

maybe he’s doing it on purpose

no more load management games off so he’s load managing his effort so he doesn’t rip something [again]

whether he’s washed or not, i’ll wait until the playoffs to determine

He looks like he takes games off on B2Bs this year, even though he is still out there. I can’t prove it or anything, but the eye test suggests that.

Did he look like a player at the end of his career from January-playoffs of this calendar year? No, he looked like a top 10 player in the league.

He’s had a rough couple of weeks from a shooting perspective, but he is still making winning plays 9/10 times.

Yes, and right now he’s playing his way back from a torn meniscus in game 1 of last season’s playoffs.

And sometimes, I know this is hard to comprehend, but bear with me. 32 year old men with chronic knee issues coming off of a torn MCL can expect a down turn regarding their athletic careers.

Usually I’d call you crazy, but I think that unfortunately , the meniscus tear might have ended his career. He has absolutely no lift and explosiveness left. His scoring might take an big hit like Harden after his first season with the Nets

I’d wait til the playoffs. Kawhi has always delivered when healthy.

EPM stat has Kawhi as a top 40 player still, and he’s still positive both on offense and defense.

If Kawhi is a liability on the court, then 90% of the league is a liability on the court.

Perhaps this is anecdotal but he’s always seemed like a slow starter to seasons. I mean he’s at least healthy and contributing. That’s already a plus
