Yes, and right now he’s playing his way back from a torn meniscus in game 1 of last season’s playoffs.
If PG isn’t playing all star level right now, I don’t know who is
*Russ attacks Luka (and scores) for 4 straight posessions.
Russ was treating Luka like Luka treats Zubac.
I’m a certified member of the Batum Bataillon and this is the first time I’ve seen everything leading up to this game winning oop. Great, random highlight to run across on Saturday night. The French Knight prevails…
The dumbest move the Clippers have done in the past 12 months is letting Nic Batum go*, both for the on-court and the intangible culture stuff. There aren’t many players like him in the league, and he will apparently give everything he has to any team (unless they’re in Charlotte).
*(Lawrence Frank and Ty Lue didn’t want to let Batum go - Ballmer got on the phone with Morey and caved in for Harden. Rare Ballmer L.)
For me I find the lakers quite boring with how much stagnant iso heavy offense they have. Occasional highlight plays due to the talent but very bland in my opinion. A surprisingly fun team I’ve been finding is the rockets. Young and well coached with really good chemistry between the players.
Can someone who knows what they’re doing grab that full-court pass from Harden to Kawhi for the and-1?
Spurs fans booing Kawhi is corny, especially this many years later.
I hate that PJ Tucker is getting minutes for the Clippers
I mean, watch a game, and then watch him here.
No.
You can almost always tell when Luka is gonna get a favorable call like that when he starts accentuating every bit of contact until the whistle is blown.
I don’t know why more 6’2" guys aren’t playing like Curry.
His chance is in the G League.
Too bad it’s only the last 2 minutes, or else they could have caught all the uncalled hacking, holds, illegal screens, and jersey tugs the Rockets were doing all night. Even Udoka blamed the foul problems on his players, not the refs: "Showing hands is the main thing. We got too grabby and reachy. We want to be physical without fouling.”
Ty Lue was straight up saying before the game that he had a hard time deciding between Terance Mann and PJ Tucker as the starting Westbrook replacement. Anyone with a half-working eyeball can see that Tucker is BAD BAD BAD, especially when playing with Zubac. He should be out of the rotation completely, (especially with Theis now here), with Kobe Brown and Amir Coffey replacing his minutes.
Man, KD is like the sage old wizard at this point. I just can’t hate this man.
Man, I’m rooting for Poole at this point. Warriors wouldn’t have a 7th championship without Poole, and now they treat him like scum. He’s having an understandably (very) rough patch, but he’s 24 and still has a place as a good rotation player on a good team.
Someone needs to check those Crypto rims to see how Ballmer paid for them to physically expand while Harden took that game-winner. And while they’re at it they need to look at Tate’s shoes to see how Ballmer put in extra boosters to make him land directly on top of Harden for the foul!!!
+0 in an 18 point win.
Lakers radio guys can’t decide if Embiid is 300 pounds or 320 pounds. (He’s listed at 280 pounds.)
