The Los Angeles Clippers hold the Mavericks, who have the 3rd best offense in the league (averaging 122.0 PPG), to only 88 points on 34/91 FG (37.4%) and 9/38 3P (23.7%). Clippers win by 19.
Did it with a combined 16 points on 4-20 from Kawhi and Harden too.
Mavs rest their entire gameplan on a rookie center
Clippers halfcourt defense is really great, the only thing we have going against us is that we’re old as fuck and get burned in transition. Hurts us on the offensive end as well since our defensive efforts rarely materialize in easy transition buckets.
Just out DAWGED them boys 🦴
Our defense has been our only constant this year. And PG being aggresive.
Don’t the clippers have the best half court defense
Not even a Clippers fan, but my God I hope they do well or win a chip one of these days. Having all that star power and still not making it to the Finals once and constantly having bad luck is just sad. Their fans have been through enough and their may as well be a little more balance in terms of who’s won.
It isn’t bad luck. They signed a bunch of injury prone all stars. It is regular luck.
You might even say it’s their plan.
Disabled List…Assemble!!!
Knew the game was over when I saw Holmes was in the starting line up. Zubat always has double digit rebounds against the mavs because we literally never have a big good enough to rebound.
This was more about the Maves than the Clippers if we’re being honest.
Lively didn’t play. He’s such an integral part of the team.
Everythings clicking now for the clippers
Maybe this is where the annual Mavs turnaround during their season to the worse starts. As usual.
If I’m Lively I’m counting my max extension dollars after that game
Some nights the shot just don’t fall in like usual.
What did the Clippers do that the Lakers couldn’t? What’s missing?
