Honestly I’m kinda glad we suck ass. If this team was mid and just below .500 playing haram ball, the FO would still preach continuity in hopes of a 1st round exit. With these results the writing is on the wall, on the ceiling, on the floor, on the furniture… There were rumours back when the Lavine trade request report came out that they wanted to trade him for win-now pieces and retool around DeRozan. It’s inconcievable to me that they would still think this way after this run of results.
So now instead of watching even play-ins/ at least competitive basketball, you get to watch a terrible team still end up with only the 5-7 pick in a draft year with no generational talents? This along with every other team in Chicago basically tanking is Cleveland levels of sadness.
