    Maybe this is a dumb question, but in cases like this is there precedent for whomever has the ball to throw it out of bounds then the opposing team passes inbounds it back to them once play resume? I know it’s super common in soccer because there aren’t as many play stoppages and no timeouts (which Finch should have used immediately).

    In Soccer, players will kick the ball out of bounds to get an injured OPPONENT off the pitch and the other team will give the ball back to their opponent after throwing it back in.

    Why the hell is the NBA culture different in this regard?

    To be fair to Finch, Ant has come back from hard falls like this and toughed it out. He is only 22

    this was absolutely insane to watch live. he was clearly not well. 2mins left in the game and he’s still not in.

    refs were terrible and Finch has not been great about calling necessary timeouts in the last few games…last and esp the kings game.

    This is the one thing I don’t like about basketball. Like why can’t we have an injury timeout with a mandatory time missed in case the player was faking it? Or a fine or something. It just seems to go against sportsmanship
