This dresser got moved to the guest room, so we will use it to hold bed linens. My partner made labels for it so we don’t grab the wrong sizes.

I used to work as a household helper (don’t know the proper term in English) for an old lady who had labeled everything in her apartment. Every time a helper had done something wrong, she labeled it.
There was a label on the window “please don’t forget to close after airing the room”.
There was a label on the tea pot “please steep no longer than 90 seconds”.
There was a label on the ceiling lamp “please don’t hit your head”.
It was amusing, infuriating and kind of cute.

That is adorable and I’m sure a bit annoying to actually deal with.

The term you are looking for is personal assistant, maid, home health aide, or housekeeper depending on the duties.

2 days after mine arrived, I had more than 60 gridfinity boxes labeled, but nothing else.

Now, I just used masking tape and sharpie, but for a dresser in a room where you want the labels but don’t want them visible, you can put them on the thin upper surface of the drawer-fronts. You only have to pull the drawer out an inch or so to read them. Also good if you don’t quite trust the dresser’s paint job.

Humph… I was kind of hoping for something more mysterious or unmentionable.

You have four different sizes of mattresses? That’s interesting, I’ve never been in a house with more than 2 sizes

Yup. We share a king bed, have a queen that will go in the guest room, eldest daughter has a full and youngest has twin bunk beds.

I hereby formally invite your partner to come over and organize my linen dresser. It’s in my office and everything is just jumbled in there.

It’s an ikea HEMNES. I’ve had it a long time and it’s held up quite well, being actual wood. My youngest has a similar one in red with matching end table that was once in big sisters nursery and they have also held up well, except for being covered in stickers.

We have one too. It’s pretty nice and I like the safety feature that only lets you open one drawer at a time to avoid tipping.

    Looks good!

I did this in our kitchen. No one else pays attention to it and I still can’t find shit. YMMV.
