      There was a specific individual which preferred jumping over walking and that jumping punched the holes into the ozone layer.

    Millennials and younger stopped believing in the system before we stopped believing in Santa.

      We don’t have any safe way to get rid of the nuclear waste, we can only store it in a way that’s probably going to stay secure until we find a way to handle it properly or it’s no longer as hazardous

      Getting rid of it would mean that we either throw it to the sun (very dangerous launching a rocket filled with nuclear waste) or somehow transform it into less radioactive forming a safe manner

        The latter was always doable with breeder reactors and spent fuel reprocessing. France recycles their nuclear waste. They end up with extremely radioactive waste that becomes safe within decades instead of centuries or millenia.

        The approach is not without its problems, but there are solutions.
