Yeah I stuck with it despite the writers utter contempt for the source material because I like Henry Cavill and think he really wanted to deliver a great fantasy series. Nothing against Liam Hemsworth and Lawrence Fishburne, I’m sure they’ll be fine, but I have zero interest in the series anymore.

I honestly didn’t even make it through season 2. It wasn’t even horrible? It was just boring. I understand it got pretty fucking bad though
Benioff-and-Weiss levels of tone-deafness and lack of fucks for the story that got people watching in the first place. I hope Lauren is satisfied with her work, because it sure seems like most of the fan base fucking isn’t.
To be honest not familiar with the books but the tv series became a boring slog.
I would have been content with a series that was Henry Cavill:Monster Hunter with a bit of epic story happening in the background as I found the standalones pretty good.
