The European Commission proposed on Tuesday that travelers should be able to buy a single ticket online for any international train journey in Europe—even if it involves multiple national railway companies— through a single, easy-to-use booking platform.

Fuck yeah, we need this! Fucking German railway has held this back for decades. I hope @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu can tell them to kindly fuck off now and finally make travelling through Europe easier with a train.
Next, shift all subsidies to planes and cars to public transport.
Knowing German Railway, you’d still have to deal with all those cancellations and delays, though.
For the next 20 years, travelling through Germany will be a disaster. If the next national election has the nazis win, it’ll take 50 years.
