There’s more. Austerity, General feeling of not being listened to, overreaching gov, lack of opportunity or progression for people of all age.
Whilst I hate what is occurring social unrest is what happens when people are pushed.
the tone of the unrest, is frustrating, these media’s that are whipping up facist crap shouldn’t exist. But they do and they wouldn’t have gained traction, but they have due to a bunch of factors. People are looking for leaders and some arseholes are monopolising.
I’d like to think govs (not just in the uk) could be able to step up and deal with extemists but they can’t, esp when they themselves employing the same tactics. Plus in general the establishments have lost the respect of their communities, so they ain’t gonna listen, they have lost control.
Short story. It is divide and conquer, but if you had a happy group in the first place it could have been headed off.
IMO The far right are the first cab off the rank. I’m not defending or excusing just expressing an opinion. I think there will be more to come unless someone gets a grip on leadership and starts working for the citizens (all of them) of the country.
Social Media, Elon, Trump, right-wing media, russia, … .
Because politicians can’t please both their corporate owners and the voters at the same time. So they follow the money and just do what their owners want. Then the voters get mad. Duh.
(And what do the owners want? Cheap labour and the breakdown of labour rights)
Labourer, your struggle is not against the immigrant, who is also a fellow labourer… it is against the exploitation of you both; against the division that oligarchs try to sow!
