Licensed or not the only good use case came and go and nobody though of it showing how dumb these grifters are. You buy a pack for 1 or 2 USD, get 5 random player cards, trade them for 10-20 cents, the owner of the project gets 10% on every trade. Complete album holders can participate on a weekly lottery once. A very easy and profitable business model. BUT involves been serious and not scamming the user so no incentive to make it.

I always thought NFT would be a neat way to make one of a kind items in an MMO. Like, you do something no one else has done before and get a legendary item for it, but you also get an nft tied to the item proving it wasn’t just data mined and edited into your account. It’s not some money making scheme, but it’s at least a real usecase.

Individual grifters know better than to go up against expert grifting organizations like FIFA

I thought the NFT train had plummeted off the end of the unfinished tracks and died a glorious Michael Bay explosive death in a deep canyon. I didn’t realize they were still a thing.

Match tickets would also be a reasonable use of NFTs.

But I guess it’s more profitable to have both. Second hand sellers and buyers pay a 15% resale fee instead
