In response to someone basically asking him why he wouldn’t vote for a Republican, he replies with some fact and figures about how the US raises taxes, and a simple way to change that.
As a progressive, I don’t agree with everything he says - but I agree with most of what he says (in general, not just this video) - I think he’s a great source of some entertainment but also political and racial discussion.
This video in particular ends up showing a way we could radically alter how to raise the money we raise ever year without hurting the wealthy unduly, and while helping those at the bottom - and by “bottom” I mean “bottom NINETY PERCENT” of Americans.
This would be a bare minimum fix. We really should do a lot more. But it shows just how stupid our current system is.
I’m hoping to see this get shared - just because this is something that can be taken to some ‘centrist’ Republicans. Maybe they don’t care about human rights, but they DO claim to be all about fair taxes.
But I think either way, this video shows what a boring dystopia our current method of taxation is, and that’s why I’m putting it here.

It’s about time people realise that the problem is not below us, it’s not “immigrants”, not “alphabet people”, not “DEI”, and so on. It’s the ultra-wealthy not paying their fair share and owning everything.
Some simple numbers. Tax worth, not income, and everyone pays far less taxes except the top 10% manipulating government to pay no taxes.
nothing. nothing would get me to vote republican. they don’t do what they say and they drop anything as nothing means anything to them. the brand has been hollowed out. some other conservative party needs to come forward with better ideas but it can’t come from the party that disgraced itself by blatant violations of the constitution and destroyed the us military and its soft power.
