Gotta kill the good vibes around the club somehow
Gotta kill the good vibes around the club somehow
They do but they’re not “greatest Buli team of all time” solid like their current form.
That’s how Real Madrid won most of their CL titles. They rarely dominated games. It was basically bend dont break and relied heavily on individual brilliance.
No depth, injuries and yet, Bayern are improving and cruising in the league. I think it’s a matter of time until Leverkusen come back to earth.
Not the best but that was a comfortable 1-0 win. They were in control the entire time.
Hopefully, he rotates everyone and plays the B team in the CL. Bayern has 2 meaningless games til the holidays to rest Kim and others.
Why are Köln so aggressive and high up the pitch? They’re leaking chances like crazy. They’re lucky Bayern aren’t up 3-0.
We’ll see where they stand in February post-AFCON.
Our defense has been better than theirs too I’ll say
That’s fine but I don’t know you can make a legit argument for it.
Shots conceded/90:
Bayern : 8.64
Leverkusen: 9.82
Shots on target conceded/90:
Bayern: 2.09
Leverkusen: 4.00
xG Against:
Bayern: 8.90
Leverkusen: 11.3
Better in what way?
Everybody talking about Xabi Alonso but not the architect of this team. If you’re a big club in need of a sporting director, you should go after Simon Rolfes.
Honestly, I would’ve been happy with 25-30 goals and 10 assists in all comps for a first season. I knew he was elite and he’s still exceeding expectations.
Sane went straight down the tunnel so something’s right. Hope it’s nothing serious.
ManUTD never disappoint
Bayern are lacking offensively but they’re bossing this game. Galatasaray haven’t done anything at all
At least, Musiala won’t travel with the national team.
Honestly, good performance by Union to snap the losing streak. I hope they can get back on track in the league. It’d suck if they got relegated.
What’s funny is that stat wise this team is on pace to better than the 2019-20 team, especially defensively. Obviously, it’s a small sample size and remains to be seen where they stand at the end of the season but I think it shows how trophies change perceptions.
The 19-20 was great offensively but overall, that team wasn’t as dominant as some may think. They were a bit lucky to not concede more and regression eventually hit them the following season.
Bayern has been such a 2nd half team this season. In most games, they look like shit only to turn it on in the 2nd half and win comfortably in the end.
Dortmund away with Laimer as a sole midfielder will be interesting.
Ok I’m starting to feel bad for them.
This game is on crack.
Bayern are playing like a team that has nothing to gain from this. Not that it’s surprising
