We literally had the top ranked defense in the NBA going into this game.
Tonight was obviously bad, but there’s just not much we can do against Denver when all of their role players are hitting their shots

Bro, someone needs to help Sengun out on the boards. Jokic is just too big and he’s using up all his energy just trying to guard him
This game is already cooked. Put Cam in at least so we can see what he has
Jeez hope he’s okay. Hate to see a guy go down immediately like that right after coming back
Spurs got Wemby. They’re fine
This year was always going to be a success as long as one of our young guys broke out as a legit franchise centerpiece, and we have that with Sengun. Feels real good
Scottie Barnes has also been incredible this year
Sengun and Sabonis are not bigs reliant on elite footwork in the post
Lol what? Elite post footwork is probably Sengun’s best trait as a player and he uses it all the time…
Kyrie was already falling over and had no chance to recover that ball with or without the extremely marginal contact
Too early to say that right now. This is basically his second year and sometimes players stagnate/regress in that second year before a 3rd year jump. Just look at Scottie Barnes last season compared to this season, it’s night and day.
He’s having an all-star caliber season for sure. Hopefully he makes it, but the west is just so stacked this year
I think Fred is well aware of that. He’s the one constantly feeding Sengun whenever he can
Jaesean Tate
Dude is a menace defensively, always makes winning hustle plays, and is an automatic bucket in the post when he gets a guard switched on him despite being only 6’4’'. He’s just always making winning plays
For the Western Conference, I could see Chet, Sengun, and Wemby all making a case for being a first time all-star this year…
If OKC keeps rolling and is a top 3 seed, they probably will deserve two all-stars and Chet is definitely the next guy up after SGA. He’s been great defensively, has been absurdly efficient on offense, and has some of the best advanced stats in the NBA at the moment.
If the Rockets maintain a top 6-8 seed, I think Sengun could make an all-star team. He’s been the best player for us this year, is putting up great numbers, and it top 15 in nearly every “catch-all” advanced stat.
For Wemby, I honestly don’t think his play has warranted it thus far, mainly because the Spurs have been one of the worst teams in the NBA so far this season and it’s extremely hard to make an all-star team with that type of team record. However, if anybody could overcome that it is probably Wemby with the immense amount of hype that comes with him.
Shout out to Sengun as well. There’s a lot of great young centers in the league right now
Yeah, the outside shot just isn’t super consistent at this point which is why he’s hesitant. I don’t mind it though, because I’m pretty sure Sengun’s thought process is “I can find a better shot inside the arc for myself, or get a better shot for my teammate”, and tbh I think that’s true. He’s been a great decision maker for us this year.
Are the refs really reviewing for an offensive foul in a game that’s over, after they already fucked us all game…?
Why is Ty burning his second to last timeout with 3 minutes left? Feels like that’s a pretty unnecessary time out right now
Can we please ban these posts? There’s a “I don’t understand the in-season tournament” post every day in this sub right now. It’s been answered numerous times already in this sub, and there’s plenty of info online to learn about it already too
After that first quarter I was just hoping we wouldn’t lose by 50
