  • It’s not just two extremes. He kept his arms tense for the first part of the back swing - which is allowed and necessary for safety - but then continued to unnecessarily elevate/hold himself through the second half of the back swing, resulting in an extra second of that unnecessary elevation.

    Technically, no pun intended, you’re supposed to extend and lower yourself instead - again, after you’ve stabilized yourself on the first part of the back swing.



  • Why are y’all acting like you don’t understand/see why this was a tech?

    He steadied himself for a safe landing which is allowed, but then not only held on a second too long, but held himself up. It was deliberate.

    Easiest call in the world.

    Do I agree with the rule? Of course not. Been dumb for ever, but each of y’all trying to use “safety” as an excuse are some bums, we all know what he did. Just straight up disagree with the rule instead of acting like you didnt see it.
