At least they have the Lions
At least they have the Lions
I’ll drown my sorrows in chicken thighs tonight
Damn that sucks
Dwight Powell sighting!
Jabari just keeps hitting these tough middies, impressed
Clippers must be cooking up something if they got the Good Burger guy in
He definitely likes them 23 and under
Around 20 leading into the half. Part of it is the Nuggets being really cold, but our defense is absolutely making them work and us hitting shots. The defense from the FAs plus Ime is probably the biggest positive this team has seen.
Uncle Jeff still got it
The Lebron of role players
Was that Jokic yelling at Christian Braun or whoever on POA defense?
Seems like Jokic is frustrated.
Jalen turned it around after that ugly 1st half for everyone. Nice to see him bounce back after being benched for the whole 4th quarter last game.
However, his question has always been consistency. He was really good in that 1st Lakers game, but had many bad games between then and now. He doesn’t need to be this good every night, but hopefully he’s starting to learn how to play better within the system rather than this being another flash.
Good comeback after that road loss streak. Jabari has had another good but quiet night and is building off previous solid performances. Sengun should be fine despite this meh night. Let’s bring the momentum next game.
Rough game, but Jabari looks good recently. His defense has stepped up and his good offense last game wasn’t just a blip. I don’t need him to take a huge leap this year, but if he can be consistently solid then that would help a lot.
ESPN - “Doping scandal among young players!?”
His face looks ill and he was questionable, but Sengun still played 18 minutes, got 13 points, a steal, and 5 OREB (yes many were from his own misses but still) in the first half. Played through an ankle sprain and was back the next game as well earlier in the year.
He is a trooper and a DAWG. He is the franchise player and I’m not sure how long we’ll give a chance for the others to become that.
Regressing to the mean, but that’s still better than being in the bottom like the last few years. We’ll take those.
Amazing that Sengun has higher usage, even better efficiency!, and has been trusted with the ball in clutch time. He is the franchise player of the young core until proven otherwise.
The team that can hardly hit a 3 vs. the team that does a bunch of turnovers.
Stoppable force vs. movable object.
Is he back to being Hillbilly Kobe again?
Edit: He missed a FT. Will it make the difference?
“The Kids Aren’t Alright” Band Cover kinda nice ngl
If nothing else, our defense should be consistently solid. That will keep us in games and make us competitive, which is all I can ask for after the past few seasons.
A longer term matter will be, if this team performs decently enough to be in play-in-/playoff contention, if we keep all the young talent to continue developing, or if we start moving people around to try and start winning now.
This game was not as close as the score implies
