Don’t know what the main sport you follow is, but in historic terms… think of a club in your league in the sport you know that was a true dynasty with probably the best player ever at his position and a legendary coach about 10-15 years ago, but has since fallen on hard times and is just now starting to rebuild from the ashes with one of the most exciting young players in the sport right now. That’s pretty much where the Spurs are today.

The SSOL Suns revolutionized pace and 3 point shooting almost 20 years ago, they would routinely run other teams off the court. It’s also funny to think that those mid-00’s Suns teams would be bottom third in today’s NBA for pace and middle of the road for 3pointers made.
