I’m here to watch the Booker and KD show, honestly they have been an entertaining pair since last year.

If i’m the Bucks I offer Pat, AJ, and a second round pick for Caruso, a starting lineup of Dame, Caruso, Middleton, Giannis and Brook looks a lot better than their current starting lineup. I know a lot of Bucks fans will probably be flabbergasted by the suggestion of including AJ, but the title window is now and within the next 3 years, cannot wait on guys like AJ to develop into a Caruso when you can just trade for him. Pretty sure there will be a lot better offers, but the Bucks should be looking into this.
New free throw routine just dropped, Ben Simmons and Giannis about to implement this into their routines.
Insane coming from a Laker homer to make a statement like this when the Lakers barely edged out a win against what looked like KD only last night. “But we’re missing Vanderbilt.” 🤡
It’s always the dudes from San Diego who are extra cringe fans.
Both these teams beat that Cavs team easily, the East was weak during those years, Lebron never faced a team like either of these.
Khris Middleton +14 in 16 minutes of playing time, this is definitely sustainable and will be his average throughout the season. He will be +28 when he gets his full minutes back.
Thats alright I can see Desmond dropping 40 tonight and Marcus Smart going for 30(shots).
Holy shit Milwaukee really got blessed by Dame.
Ahhh yes the poverty franchise of the Phoenix Suns with no “Superteam” just KD and a bunch of role players on that team. Devin Booker thats an end of the bench guy, and Bradley Beal should probably flex his McDonalds starter cap a little harder since he gets played off the floor every night. KD cannot win with these cats.
Jaylen Brown and it is not even close.
Surprised nobody has mentioned KAT.
Jevon Fucken Carter, definitely a defensive specialist loved his attitude when he was playing for the Bucks last season, hope he can continue being a recognized defender in Chicago.
I think Jayson Tatum is a very good player, but I think that the roster surrounding him has also been a key factor to his success, can Tatum carry a team like the 2022 nuggets to a six seed where all the help is missing? Can he carry a team like the 2019 Bucks to the ECF when his point guard is Eric Bledsoe. See the difference between an MVP caliber player is that they can change the outcome for an entire team alone, it is why you bring pieces together around that core player. In the Celtics case they have had a plethora of talent on the court alongside Tatum: Brown, Smart, Williams, Kemba, Kyrie, Horford, and the list goes on. This is no disrespect to Tatum either, he is a phenomenal player but if he were on any other team that was not Boston he might just be a guy like Bradley Beal on the Wizards who can score and be a bottom tiered team.
He had his chance at proving all the hype around him in 2022, but to fall apart the way he did in the Finals just proved he is not at that level yet. Also remember that Jaylen Brown exists on the team and put up 26/7/3 last season and has been an amazing second option on the Celtics. He is not shouldering the weight of the Celtics team on his own.
Talk about a player whose career was impacted by somebody else’s greatness Iguodogshit should have never been in the Finals, “BLOCKED BY JAMES” Headass.
I don’t think that the team was built to win that year, they were a couple of years too early for their own good. That first round series was a couple of shots missed from going the other direction. I think that you might be revisionist in your perception of that second round series, I think anybody watching that series knew it was Celtics vs Giannis, that became even more abundantly clear in games 6 and 7. Game 7 of the ECF against the Heat ended with Jimmy Butler missing a 3 that could have changed the outcome. I never saw them as favorites in most of their series.
This year however they do seem to have a lot of tools available to take it all, they probably have the best defensive back court in the league, their bench is their weakest point and I would like for them to maybe move Horford for a usable big. Horford turns 38 at the end of the year and if they have him at the 5 he will be getting abused all year by bigger guys for sure, will he be able to withstand all the minutes they will demand from him during the regular season and then carry that into the postseason.
Also the Warriors were better at that point, their players just unlocked themselves, like who the fuck would have thought Wiggins was going to show up that huge in the playoffs when his track record in the playoffs before playing with the Warriors was nonexistent with the Wolves.
Glad to see that Draymond isn’t on the floor and still serving his suspension, because I can guarantee you he would make it another spectacle and try to fight KD.
