Yup. It’s a tale as old as time.
It honestly makes guy like Vince Carter or Paul Pierce that much more refreshing. Those guys successfully became role players as old ass men instead of trying to still be stars when the time had passed.

Can’t believe the refs called that a foul. Tate did everything right and gave harden about 2-3 feet to land, and harden kicked his shins! If harden had continue with that motion, his landing zone would’ve been 4 or 5 feet lmao.
Right? He kicked Tate as he fell on his ass intentionally. There was no contact.
Well it’s not a foul. He kicked Tate lol. Tate stood upright about 2 feet in front of where harden shot from. Harden had to fall backwards in order to get that contact.
It’s an amazing shot but the foul is total bullshit. Shame on the refs for calling it.
Maybe top 12-15 would be more app. Because Jokic almost certainly is on pace to be in the top 10 or even top 5. You also need to throw Ewing in there. And I think Embiid is going to be remembered way better than he’s currently viewed, especially if he has more playoff success at some point.
But either way, Dwight is in the pantheon of all time centers.
Yeah that comment is crazy. Dwight went from the best big in the league to maybe the 2nd or 3rd best big in the league when he was in Houston. He wasn’t really bouncing around until he left Houston and even then he was just on bad teams, I don’t know that he was some massive cancer. I think he was just annoying to be around but moreso before he accepted that he wasn’t a superstar.
The guy is still like a top 10 center of all time possibly.
Bullshit. He was still really good in Houston, just not posting as gaudy of stat lines. He wasn’t just straight up bad until his last year in Houston when he developed pretty serious back problems
This isn’t as big of a butterfly affect as some of the others but Bill Simmons poisoned me with the “What If?” of the Cavs drafting Iguodala (if he had fallen one more pick) to pair with Lebron instead of Luke Jackson. This is 2004, way before Lebron gets sick of being in Cleveland and also gives Iggy the chance to fall into the perfect position as a #2.
They probably still lose in 2007 without better FA signings and draft picks. But this at least allows the Cavs front office to not make desperation trades every offseason and just seek out shooters and role players. Plus, imagine how fantastic their defense would have been against the Celtics big 3, all the shooters on the Magic, and the Pistons perimeters guys.
In this scenario Lebron probably wins one or at least regularly gets close to winning a championship and maybe doesn’t go to Miami. But who knows? Maybe Lebron still falls in love with the idea of playing with Melo and Wade in the Olympics and ditches Iggy after one or two disappointing playoff losses?
Nah. What if they draft Wade and pair him up with Chauncey and Rip. Or Bosh
Yup. He’s in the rui hachimura range if I had to guess: 3 yr 51 mill. And even that would be way too rich for my blood.
Hahahahaha wait til you learn who’s not paying any or paying extremely low property taxes in your city. Hint: any big corporation that recently moved there, private high schools, colleges, golf courses, malls, etc.
100 would be absurd too. Bro is like the 7th best player on a team that didn’t make the playoffs
Who’s more sensitive, Klay or Dray?
