I still think he has a 10-20 game hot streak in him. If his pride is cool with it, I think he could spend the next 3 years signing 1 year deals with contenders in need of a shooter. Like I think we all know if he didn’t improve at all for the rest of the year, an LA team would still sign him next offseason.

In an ideal world the nba will set firm rules like, convicted of 1 dv you’re out for the season. If it happens again you’re out indefinitely. But the nba won’t set hard rules because they know the day will come when a top 10 player commits this awful act, and they value money above all else (as businesses do). And yeah, also dv isn’t always easy to prove.

Miles Bridges is just straight up not good enough to have to deal with this, and he’s just not smart enough to make these incidents questionable. He’s not even an all star, and despite what some fans say he was probably never going to be. If, while he was suspended for this, he did it again… if I was silver I would make an example out of him. Let the union fight it in front of the court of public opinion.

Swapping with OKC isn’t really all that bad even though it is true OKC is trending up and LAC is trending down. I still expect LAC to be better in 25. They will most likely re-sign at least 3 of those guys. I think they’ll re-sign all 4. Even if you assume that 3 of the 4 will miss 20-30 games a season I still think they’re fine.

If they click and get hot at the right moment they can absolutely win the championship. And I think that is worth the risk. If they build a new arena and win the chip this guy is going to make like a billion dollars overnight

I think stats almost always rely on context. Above 90% free throw shooting is elite I guess.

But for like 3 pt shooting, I don’t think it’s enough to say a certain % at a certain number of attempts. I think you also have to know if guys can shoot above the break or off the dribble. Unless you’re being very specific and saying “elite at the corner three”. In which case it’s maintaining 45% after 500 attempts? (I think I once read a study that says a players %s start to normalize after 500 attempts)
