Why does it matter how well Paul George is shooting if it never matters how well Westbrook is?
Why does it matter how well Paul George is shooting if it never matters how well Westbrook is?
He’s been searching since 2018
Can we settle that Maxey, who was a lot worse than Brown months ago in the playoffs, is now once and for all better than Brown because of how well he has played in the first 15ish games? No, we can’t.
Somewhat expected for what? What is the expectation here?
There are other high profile combinations that are doing better than this, and many teams best performing lineup combinations are their starters.
Sure, I doubt there is an available trade that would be beneficial to the Wolves.
But a small sample size 7.3 net rating, while good, isn’t screaming that these two are a great fit destined for playoff success. Especially when this is below the average net rating of several Wolve’s players including Towns.
So 14 regular season games is enough to change your mind on Towns, but not Porzingis? And you are down on Brown who has only been the second or third best player on four teams that have gotten to the conference finals or better?
All you needed to see was Towns to over perform your expectations for 14 games to convince you they are nearly as good as Tatum, Brown and Porzingis?
And you felt this same way 14 regular season games ago?
You think they are better than Tatum, Brown and Porzingis?
Because it’s both an awful way to build a team that you would presumably want to win in the relative near future, and it’s bad for the league as a whole and someone is going to eventually step in and put an end to it.
How would they prevent Davis from getting injured?
Tatum is 3-0 outplaying Embiid in head to head playoff series as well
Not uncommon for great players to cease being great as they get into their 30s.
Lillard also has had struggles staying healthy the past few seasons which isn’t normally a sign of good things to come.
Not saying he is done as a great player, just that that being a possibility now or in the near future shouldn’t be shocking.

Rookies struggling? Unheard of!
Seems more like your selection bias. Several of the current players you mentioned have had struggles with injuries in recent years, and you are ignoring some of the better players from the 2000s who did age gracefully.
Is it so hard to imagine a few years from now we will look back and see Kawhi’s last prime season was 2020 when he was 28?
The singular game the Clippers won in the playoffs he was 3-19 from the field… what the fuck are talking about?
The Nuggets were scoring 124.4 points per 100 possessions with Jokic on the court and you are talking about APG? Watch the games.
Oh wow, a triple double?!?! Must have scored real efficiently to do that!
