I just don’t understand why on-the-ground refs have anything to do with flopping calls. Have Seacaucas give them a call during a timeout and apply it retroactively

It’s the most underrated part of this game. He has freakish athleticism but often just uses it to jump high enough to kiss it off the glass rather than always trying to yam it on mfers.
You’re talking about a team with 4 centers and like 3 point guards, this isn’t surprising. They’ve just been grabbing whatever random hypothetical talent they can find (Wiseman, Bagley) and selling their cap space. I think they had pretensions of being as good as the Magic were last year considering Cade’s talent and Bojan’s vet presence/shooting, but I think the roster is just took fucked. They might just be content to tank another season tbh and hope Ausar and Ivey can use this as a development year
Did Spo ever coach international tournaments before last year? Seems like a pretty big change to sacrifice the two months out of the year he can be home.
Also, just because nothing’s changed doesn’t mean the underlying situation wasn’t difficult to deal with
Must be hard to be married to someone so married to an all-encompassing job that takes them all across the country for half the year
I wonder if at this point he’s just not willing to hurt his body for a lost cause and/or deliberately tanking his value to make it easier to get onto a contender
That was disrespectful as fuck but also Randle was complete and utter garbage until the 3rd quarter
It would help if they, yanno, had an actual fucking point guard. But in all seriousness I don’t think the Jazz are all that concerned with being good right now. It’d help if they had real talent in the door they could be developing, but ultimately they’ve got enough diversified future equity coming their way that they’re content to just be a lottery team again
Million dollar move with a 10-cent finish
Being lower in the standings than the Hornets will do that to a mf
Why the actual fuck are they still using the IST courts when we know they’re dangerous
Pop is explicitly telling him to just fuck around while he figures out what his strengths and weaknesses are. The plan is to use the beginning of the season as a feeling-out period, then Pop’s gonna design a system around him
But Bill Simmons insisted they needed to trade Giddey and picks for Jrue Holiday
Idk about Chet specifically but I feel like the Spurs will need to figure this out with Wemby: they’re tall, but they’re not big men. Everyone tried to make Lauri a stretch-4 and then it turned out everything about his offensive skill set and body type made him a 3, he was just as tall as a 4.
Damn that is exactly what happened wtf
SMH everyone knows isometric stretching is obsolete and it’s all about dynamic warmups now
Naz Reid is a problem
