          I joined kbin during that exodus, but I follow very niche hobbies and it was a ghost town in lemmyverse then. I come back now and it is really popping off.

          I gave up yesterday. I was using boost and it still worked with Reddit after some fiddling. But two days ago domain errors finally stopped boost.

          Now I’m here and am learning how bad the censorship has gotten. I knew it wasn’t great but wow.

    Just do a link out to a PNG that says “destroy the rich” and then have the text say “you know what to do…”

    Then it won’t get filtered. If you upload a new graphic every few posts and change the text part it’ll be even harder for them to blanket ban your posts.

    Maybe it’s time to start using rhyming slang?

    You make a short phrase where the last word rhymes with the word you want. So for “rich”, the phrase could be “bait and switch”. Then you drop the end and just use the first part, in this case “rich” becomes “bait”. Eat the bait. You could also make one for “eat”, say “sugar beet”, then eat–>sugar.

    Sugar the Bait.

    But plenty of other possibilities. For Luigi, it might be a little harder, all I can think of is squeegee and Fiji.

        You know how it’s normally not good for you to eat heavily processed foods? Same goes for rich people. They are so full of chemicals and plastics that you’re better off not literally eating them.

      Not even needed to cap, you could just make a progressive tax that the wealthier population doesn’t feel in order to provide a safety net and social mobility for everyone. That way there can be more rich people using less social services, so individual rich need to pay less while everyone is happy.
