What’s also messed up is that it’s that hard for this kid to get citizenship. That’s just a broken system.
The worst part is they’re trying to find ways to strip naturalized citizenship. Trump was wanting to do that on his first term and didn’t have the numbers for it.
That’s precisely why I left. I’m a naturalized citizen AND trans, among other protected classes. It’s not safe for me to merely exist.
