This might not be very popular, but Joel Embiid is currently leading the league in PPG at 31.9 ppg. He is having another really good season.

Rounding out the top 10:

  1. KD (31.4 ppg)

  2. Luka Doncic (30.5 ppg)

  3. SGA (30.4)

  4. Giannis (29.7)

  5. Steph (29.7)

  6. Jokic (28.2)

  7. Jayson Tatum (27.8)

  8. Anthony Edwards (26.7)

  9. Tyrese Maxey (26.3)

This list matches the eye test very well.

You can just come back here during the playoffs if you’re not interested in regular season discussion. We’ll get by without your thought provoking analysis

I think players will start respecting Maxey more and sag off Embiid a bit more to give him more space to drive

Jo’s assists are up significantly. He had 9 tonight. He will have triple doubles when Oubre is back in the lineup.

No one really thinks of Embiid as an all-time great scorer (yet), but 3 straight scoring titles would place him in truly elite company

Not really fair to include SGA, since he hasn’t had an actual playoff series, or Maxey since he wasn’t a starter

I take for granted how much Ant elevates in the playoffs, as a 20 and 21 year old too. Can’t wait to see him when he’s 25+ like most of the guys on this list.

Fox at 27.4. Obviously it was only 1 playoff series but still. If Sga and maxey are gonna be included so should Fox.

im surprised tatum is even here to be honest… we have multiple games where he gets 1 or 2 shots in the first quarter… i dont think anyone else on this list has that problem. In our offensive system it seems like tatum has been the one to sacrifice his stats so far. He wont shoot at all in his first rotation, then he is first subbed out and comes back for like a minute at the end of the first with the bench.

Really wish we would ride tatums scoring to start games, sub him out at his regular time then let the Brown/KP two man game go to work.

Booker averaging 29.6 next to KD. Just doesn’t have the games played to make the list yet. He has played 8 of our 16 games

Ngl thought Jokic was higher but then I remembered he got kicked out a game early and had foul trouble for another
