He’s letting everyone know he’s going to do it again. The game has gotten bigger and he’s just gotten older and it has passed him by. Being a disrupter is the only thing he has left, and playing nice is career suicide.

good. Gobert shoulda worried about stopping his own teammate. he put hands on Klay so Dray put hands on him

So give him 15 more. Ask him again if it was worth it. If he says “yes”, give him 50 more on top.

I wish Stern would be back from the dead just to show Silver how to deal with Draymond.

Silver loves players to a fault and knows players playing means more business and more eyes on the games. Stern would have none of this. He’d be suspended for the remiander of the Playoffs after the Sabonis incident.

Which is what he deserved. He clearly stomped on Sabonis’ chest, and I wish he did the same to the idiots carrying water for him, like supposedly HOF journalist Marc Spears, who basically blamed Sabonis for the entire thing, claimed Sabonis tried to injure Draymond etc.

As for players playing meaning more business, don’t tell me there would be more than a handful of people who’d stop watching the game if Draymond was suspended. Not like Warriors fans would suddenly stop watching the playoffs, and nobody is paying tickets in SF to watch him from courtside. They pay to be seen there and/or to see Steph.

Yeah, but the problem is, Draymond is a vital piece of the Warriors team and he was an integral part of each title. He’s the one that does the dirty work for them. And the NBA doesn’t want to jeopardise Steph’s potential success. They go hand in hand. Draymond plays, Steph has a shot to win more games. it’s that simple for them.

Ofc not, he got to dodge stephless games for a while, got to hit his biggest opp, and all it cost was the world outside of SF clowning him for 2 days

Dray’s that mf down at the park that hacks the shit out of you and goes “WHAT FOUL?!?”, but you lightly put a hand on him on a layup he screams his head off for a foul

If you go on /r/teachers he sounds like a lot of the parents/kids in inner city school systems they tell stories about there. No empathy, no accountability, react with violence to every situation and enabled by higher-ups who don’t want to deal with the negative career consequences of disciplining someone.

I remember I had a buddy in college always like that. I hated being in the gym shooting around and he’d pull up and then ask to run. I started just hitting him with the “ah man I was just about to head out” everytime lmao

What’s up with these dudes? They wanna play hard but get upset when you match them. I stopped playing with one group of guys because of this. Dude would try to hurt people after any perceived slight against him.

then tells you to shoot for it. When shitheads tell me to shoot for the foul, I tell them that when I make it we’re taking the 2 points. So then I leave it up to them. It’s funny seeing the confusion on their face, “YOU CAN’T DO THAT!?!!” I just did. So is it a foul or am I shooting an uncontested shot for possibly 2 points?

Not to mention ‘coming to a teammate’s defense’ is a wild way to imply what Gobert was actually doing in that moment.

Perk says wild stuff but his take on Draymond was A+

Basically Draymond needs a more significant punishment because a 5 game suspension will do nothing. He is not willing to change. He truly feels no regret

Yeah but this should’ve happened years ago. Adam Silver was too happy milking his golden cow

As it stands, Draymond says he’s retiring soon anyway. So, if he gets a reasonable suspension, it’ll be him retiring.

It’s too late for him to learn

You’d hope so, but he’s making 25 (now 24) mil this season from his NBA contract alone and that’s not even including his outside ventures. Especially at that level of money, losing 1/25th of your income when your life is already set probably barely registers to these guys.
