“Animal Farm is not for kids…”
Is that why they made me read it in school when I was 12?
I’d say animal farm totally is for kids. Its for everyone.
It is 100% for kids. Only a kid could be wowed by its extremely blunt and obvious metaphor. Not that I’m dissing it, but come the fuck on, it’s not exactly Ulysses.
Yeah it’s obvious so even kids can understand it. It’s not “for kids” per se but it’s absolutely kid appropriate and understandable
Tbf most things that weren’t written by James Joyce aren’t at the level of Ulysses

Ouch, I didn’t know they made a new cartoon, the CIA-funded one wasn’t that bad though, but yeah, I think Animal Farm IS kid-friendly and a very good material for kids.
It’s absolutely for kids too. It’s one of those books you should read throughout your life and you’ll have different takeaways from it each time. It can be formative for kids and that’s what we want.

The adult version was called Anal Farm.
Isn’t it written so that anybody can understand the concept and see it’s wrong? It should be mandatory literature in any school at least 3 times
