I used to peel all my croissants and store them in my walls as insulation then wrap the peels around real insulation and sell them at a local church bake sale. Man those old Christians love eating insulation wrapped in a thin layer of bread.
How dare you. Ruining a nice, tasty piece of insulation with croissant bread? I absolutely despise the French.
Silly person. Everybody knows that most of the nutrients and vitamins the croissant provides are in its peel.
Actually, this is an urban myth. The skin has as much vitamins and nutricians as the rest of the croissant. It was a white lie created to motivate kids to eat the skin as well. But actually the skin is worse to eat. It contains the highest doses of pesticides so it’s better to peel.
Nah, all the fiber is in the peel!
Just don’t eat the core. There’s cyanide in the seeds
I heard about someone that ate a croissant core and then a croissant tree grew out of his stomach and killed him!
Worth the sacrifice, a croissant tree can feed an entire village

What is _wrong_with some people? At least they’re not eating kiwi fruit skin.
The skin is the best part. We eat them like apples, skin on.

It depends on the croissant. Sometimes they are so flaky and crispy that you can’t successfully peel them. They just shatter.
That’s not a real croissant a real croissant has layers
It’s just sparkling bread.
Type shit backrooms beings are made of
Not quite a croissant, but I know multiple people who peel curd cheese doughnuts before eating them (and eat the skin separately)
I’ve never heard of a curd cheese doughnut, but am I wrong in assuming you must be from Wisconsin?
You would be wrong :3
From lithuania. Somewhat of a traditional food here, we have them everywhere lol
I knew someone who peeled their corndogs and ate the parts separately.
The croissant is clearly uncomfortable. It didn’t consent to this photo.
Ashamedly I do peel it a few inches at a time sometimes… like a banana.
Flayed croissant.
Clearly all croissants come burned!
“You can even… eat them”
I unroll mine (eating as I go), and enjoy it flat. At first that was what I expected…
When my nephew was 3, he would eat the center of a croissant, and ignore the rest, that’s similar.
Nah I used to do this as a kid
