[a TV host speaks, paper in hand]
On today’s show, we’ll be discussing worker’s rights and whether socialist policies could improve society.
To ensure a fair and balanced debate, we’ve invited a diverse panel of experts relevant to this topic…
[hands clasped, wearing a huge gold bitcoin chain and an obvious wig, a character smirks]
…first, Alexandre De La Bourgeoisie Royale, a self-made crypto-AI entrepreneur who works tirelessly every day from 5AM to 11PM and thinks the average worker is a lazy slob…
[a finger up, wearing rectangular glasses, a character in a brown suit is ready to argue]
…next, Neo L. Beral, a prized economist known for his essays Why We Should Raise The Retirement Age By Ten Years and Taxing The Rich Would Ruin The Country…
[arms crossed, wearing a red cap and a cross necklace, a character in a high visibility suit frowns]
…and finally, representing the workers themselves, John “Class Traitor” Mussolini, head of the beloved Christian Conservative Trade Union For Surrendering Your Rights.
Let’s get started!

You’re forgetting the democratic socialist who admits to being a capitalist and hates socialism, who calls the current capitalist system something like “corporate socialism”.
Well, it is corporate socialism: privatize profits, socialize problems.
And when they do have an alternative perspective on they just talk over them and try to force them into a box, see: “I’m literally a communist, you idiot!”
I haven’t watched tv in so long I can’t relate to this anymore, maybe that’s a good thing
German TV would invite one comedian. To shake it up a little.
British TV would invite a German comedian.

I think remember this guy from the IT crowd, or I may be thinking of the British panel comedy shows.

John class traitor would be in CLAC if he were in Canada.
CLAC is a union in name only, they side with the employer unless absolutely necessary.
French equivalent of the CLAC was funded by the CIA in an attempt to balance European union power away from communist trade unions (it used to be an open secret, the documents are public now, and an ex-CIA guy just flat out confirmed it).
Given the CLAC was founded in the same era as ours, odds are they share the same backstory.
Hard to blame conspiracy theorists when you study labor history.
Conspiracies fucking happen. There’s money and power in it.
I mean shit, even the “baby eating cabal” conspiracies were probably right, just they ended up electing the baby eating alligator who promised to drain the swamp.
That document doesn’t say anything about the funding of a trade union by the CIA. Interesting document nonetheless about what the CIA thought about labour unrest in France in the 1950’s though.
Important to consider that this is in the 1950’s, during Stalin’s brutal reign, when he famously said “Tsar Alexander made it all the way to Paris.” To most of the world, he looked like another Hitler dressed in a different colour.
